About the School

Make the world sit up and listen by charting the course of Asia’s music industry.

The School of Contemporary Music offers programmes that prepare students to thrive as a musicians, singers, songwriters or audio technicians, whether in the commercial music industry or the experimental and avant-garde.

Our programmes prepare graduates for further study or leadership in the music industry. Students hone their craft through regular live performances in our industry-standard studios and theatre venues, while deepening knowledge through specialist practical and theoretical training in one’s chosen instrument or field of study.

Technology is woven into every aspect of the curriculum, keeping students in step with industry demands. As a School situated in the heart of Asia, we offer rich exposure to diverse musical cultures and opportunities to connect with international artists, composers and producers.
