About alumni grants
The McNally School of Fine Arts recognises the importance of supporting our alumni by providing a funding infrastructure that will empower them to be actively engaged in one or more of the following endeavours:
- Sustaining research and practice knowledge
- Encouraging production of, presentation of and participation in the arts
- Networking and professional development
Alumni Group Exhibition Grant
The Alumni Group Exhibition Grant is open to graduates of the McNally School of Fine Arts, and also applicable to graduates from other Schools who intend to collaborate with fine arts graduates, to support their art practices in the area of visual arts including, but not limited to, ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, performance art and video art. Recipients should be able to demonstrate at least three years of professional practice portfolio (local and international) at the time of application. The exhibition should take place during June, November or December of the calendar year. Exact dates do not have to be determined at the time of application, but a plan for exhibition should be clarified as soon as possible. Events will take place at Winstedt Campus.
Once-off funding of up to S$2,000 per exhibition

Fieldwork Research Grant
The Fieldwork Research Grant is open to graduates of the McNally School of Fine Arts, and also applicable to graduates from other Schools who intend to collaborate with fine arts graduates. The grant is awarded to graduated students who are intending to pursue their fieldworks on specific research topics that have contributed to a thesis or dissertation or if the applicant has done preliminary work on the topic. Independent research will be considered if the requirements are fulfilled.

Island Studies Grant
The Island Studies Grant is open to graduates of the McNally School of Fine Arts and also applicable to graduates from other Schools, who intend to collaborate with Fine Arts graduates. The grant is to support research studies about islands in relation to environment, migration or socio-political conditions. This is awarded to graduated students who are intending to pursue field research on specific islands that have contributed to a thesis or dissertation or if the applicant has done preliminary work on the topic. Independent research will be considered if the requirements are fulfilled.

Women Arts Grant
The Women Arts Grant is open to all women graduates of the McNally School of Fine Arts. The grant is to support women artists with outstanding professional practice, leadership qualities and a strong passion to continue their research/practice in the area of visual arts including, but not limited to, ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, performance art and video art.
