Tamil Murasu: Creations that protect the cultural components
A group of students from the BA(Hons) Product Design programme were challenged to design lamps inspired by Diwali, the festival of lights, and these creations were showcased at Milan Design Week 2023.
The young designers brought different interpretations and inspirations to their works, designed with attention to sustainability, using natural materials and solar energy to power their creations.
Tamil Murasu spoke with students Lo Ho Yin and Lim Kay Li to find out more about the inspirations behind their creations.
