Lianhe Zaobao: Enjoy the beauty of the city with creative designs
From 16 May to 30 June 2024, visitors to Marina Square, Millenia Walk, South Beach, Suntec City, and Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay encountered eight delightful pieces of public furniture, inspired by the places, histories and cultures in Singapore.
In collaboration with Marina Central district, students from LASALLE College of the Arts’ School of Spatial & Product Design undertook a project to design innovative and functional pieces of outdoor furniture and products that prioritise human needs, comfort and well-being in urban planning.
