LASALLE’s Year 1 BA (Hons) Fine Arts cohort comprises a kaleidoscope of diverse students, each unique and distinct. Despite their differences, they have managed to grow and bond–their individual practices merging and melding to influence each other in novel ways.
The exhibition mixes a variety of media, explored in unconventional ways, explorative visual effects and rich conceptual depth. Marvel at the manipulation of figures and forms, the vibrant synergy of colours, and the blurring of artistic boundaries. The works capture the tenacity of the students’ spirit, creative fervour of their first semester and their burning desire to create and destroy–as all artists do.
