In threads Draft #2, the artists have responded to ideas of latent spaces (or multidimensional spaces) through modes of describing, translating, interpreting and experiencing the transference of these spaces and/or their markers, nodes or vectors of object locations.
The visuals and data from Draft #1 are further transposed, compressed, extended, retained or transformed in this iteration.
threads is a series of lab-based interrogations, incubation and showcases at Earl Lu Gallery that depart from the previous exhibition, ComThread. By playing with the original title, the earlier research and ideas are taken apart and reworked into new presentations. From the previous iterations, multiple inside out inversions, various tangential points and axes are generated.
