Form_Flux_Futures is a hybrid event featuring a print fair, roundtable discussions, workshops and a showcase of work from the School of Design Communication at LASALLE College of the Arts.
As designers, we create forms — tangible, tactile expressions of our ideas that demonstrate our craft. However, at this moment the landscape of design is in a state of flux as technological advancements and shifting visual cultures push us beyond established norms.
While our tools have become more powerful, they also carry the potential to disrupt familiar practices, forcing us to rethink the very foundations of our work. In response, we must engage with the speculative futures that emerge from this dynamic interplay. Form_Flux_Futures is an exploration of this fundamental tension within design practice: the symbiotic relationship between making and breaking.
Opening night will feature alumni who will speak about their experiences at LASALLE and tips on navigating the industry.
