BA (Hons) Product Design
Namjot Kaur
2025

Namjot Kaur is a Singapore-based product designer with a passion for creating solutions that serve communities and spark real-world impact. A graduate of LASALLE College of the Arts, her work blends thoughtful design with her interest in aviation and flying.

Namjot’s final-year project Albatross is a pioneering rescue glider designed with support from aerospace engineers to deliver emergency aid to disaster-hit regions in Indonesia. The project was recognised internationally, earning her the prestigious Red Dot Award for Design Concept. She also co-designed Tithonus, an electric race car concept in collaboration with Singapore University of Technology and Design, which marked the beginning of her journey into automotive design. Namjot also created Tera, a sustainable, self-watering plant system that led to her being selected as one of just 14 Singaporean designers to exhibit at Milan Design Week.

Namjot’s approach to design is deeply collaborative, shaped by her experience working alongside peers, communities and cross-disciplinary teams. She believes good design uplifts others, solves root-level problems, and is most powerful when it serves those who are often overlooked.
